Renames a file or a project without affecting the history of the file.
You must have Rename access right to use this command.
1. Select the file or project you want to rename.
2. Select the Rename command from either the File menu or by right-clicking the selected file or project.
3. Type the new name of the file or project in the new name field of the Rename dialog box and then click OK.
NOTE:
If a file exists locally, it will not be renamed in the working folder. Perform the Get Latest Version command to retrieve a new copy of the file with the new name.
If a shared file is renamed, the name of the file will be changed in all of the projects that share it. Rename will not affect any files that have been branched.
